Physician profile series for a growing surgical group
The film
Five surgeons, five films, one shared idea: that a practice is built at the table where cases get argued out.
The problem on the table
The group had grown from four to eleven surgeons and had no way to introduce its subspecialists to referring physicians.
How we made it
One shoot week, five surgeons, a shared visual language so the films could run as a series or stand alone. Each one opens at the scrub sink and ends with a patient conversation.
Behind the scenes
- Five profiles shot in one week to keep every surgeon out of the OR for less than two hours total.
- We used the same lens set and the same sink for continuity across the series.
- Patient scenes were filmed only with signed release and the patient's own request to participate.
Our referring physicians finally know who they are sending patients to. That is worth more than any ad we have bought.
